To celebrate reaching 500 members, I have cooked up a week of activities for FUN and PLAY - and some really great PRIZES!
Each day, a new discussion will be started featuring our activity for the day. I will also post a reminder to our comment page and on my blog, so you will know every day what the activity is and how to get involved.
WEDNESDAY - Submit your name for Queen of the Day drawing! By 9:30 pm PST, random.org will choose a name and I will announce the winner. By Thursday evening, that person will send me a sampling of up to ten photos of their crafting/creative projects and a little bio about themselves. More to come on this ....
Note: Your photos do NOT have to be of Phindy cards, or even cards for that matter. They can be of any craft you do! We just want to learn a little bit about you.
THURSDAY - NAME MRS. COMFY'S FRIEND
A new Mrs. Comfy Stamp will be posted. "Mrs. Comfy and ---------- do Coffee". You get to fill in the name! It can be your name, the name of someone you love, a name you make up. You will post your name suggestion to the discussion area and at 9:30 pm PST, random.org will choose the winner. The winner has their name on the stamp and wins a free copy of the stamp!
FRIDAY- PHINDY 500 FABULOUS QUEEN FOR THE DAY!
The winner chosen Thursday night, will be our Queen for the Day on our PCP group! You will have a slideshow of your cards, your bio will be up for us all to enjoy and you will receive a $10 gift certificate to Michaels and the image of your choice from my Etsy shop!
You will also receive a special blinkie to put on your blog and I will email you a badge to print out and wear at home - just so your household will know you are royalty!

SATURDAY - CARDATHON!
Our own wonderful Anne Ray is hosting the cardathon on Saturday! She will post all the information you need by Friday. The start time, the finish time and the materials you will need on hand. This should be tremendous fun - and to make sure we get good participation, the winner, chosen by random.org, will receive a $25 gift certificate to Michaels!

SUNDAY: CHALLENGE CARDS DUE & CAKE CONTEST!
Sunday, our "Love & Friendship Challenge" cards are due - by 9:pm Winner chosen by random.org and a $10 gift certifcate to my Etsy shop as a prize.
ALSO - What is a celebration without cake? On Sunday, I will have post to my blog a slide show of all our wonderful "Sooo Good" mouse eating cake cards. There are a LOT of these fabulous cards and you are going to vote on a poll for which cake you think looks the most delicious! The winner chooses an image they like from my Etsy shop!
MONDAY - PHINDY'S FAVORITE CHALLENGE BLITZ!
Sunday evening by 9:30 PST, I will post the requirements for a 24 hour challenge, featuring Phindy's favorite colors and a few other stipulations. Your card will be due on Monday evening by 9:30 pm PST. All finished, posted cards will be entered into a drawing and random.org will choose the winner. The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to Michaels!

TUESDAY - SOUP FOR 500!
On Tuesday, I will post another freebie! This will be a border design for an 81/2 x 11 page. I want everyone who pulls this freebie to take it, type in their favorite soup recipe and then post it back to our discussion! I recommend you do not color the border in at this time, and make sure your posting is of a high resolution - because we are going to print these pages out and compile them into a Phindy's Place Soup Cookbook! (if all the images are b&w for printing - we will save on colored ink).
ALSO - my next Freebie, when we reach 600 - will be an image for the cover of this cookbook!
